PHILADELPHIA—Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is in Philadelphia campaigning on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Clinton hosted a "conversation" with voters at a Jewish community center in Northeast Philadelphia on Monday morning. She also has an appearance scheduled in Horsham.
Clinton said in an interview taped for NBC's "Today" show from Scranton, Pa., she thinks Obama has substantially improved his chances by the way he has handled questions about the country's severe credit crisis.
Republican presidential candidate John McCain plans to make a stop Monday afternoon at Philadelphia International Airport and speak on Tuesday at Montgomery County Community College.
McCain's running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, will make a campaign stop in Scranton on Tuesday afternoon.
