Kahne, who most recently won on the road course at Sonoma and sits on the edge of making the Chase for the Championship, will compete in the 360 sprint division in the Aug. 5 event. Kahne, who at 19-years-old was the Williams Grove opening-day winner in 2000, took ninth last year.
Also joining Kahne will be NASCAR bad-boy Kyle Busch and David Stremme. Both Busch and Stremme will compete in the super late model division.
Proceeds from the race will be donated to charities designated by the Kasey Kahne Foundation, whose primary mission is to help and support chronically ill children and their families. Last year's event raised $139,000.
Advance tickets are available only at www.battleatthegrove.com through Aug. 3. Tickets will be on sale at Williams Grove on race day.
Advance ticket buyers who purchase prior to July 21 will be entered into a drawing for admission to an autograph session with Kasey Kahne and select drivers.
