A York man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant was nabbed Tuesday allegedly trying to steal a sweatshirt from a store in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County.

Terrance Ragland, 37, of the 1000 block of North Duke Street, was arrested as he tried to take an XL blue hooded Hershey sweatshirt worth $21.99 from Funck's Mini Market near Annville, according to state police in Jonestown.

State police arrested Ragland on retail theft charges at the store about 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Ragland was also charged with providing false identification to law enforcement because he gave police a fake name, police said.

State police discovered Ragland was wanted in York County for felony retail theft. He will be extradited to York County, police said.
