Angry student throws chair at York school staff

An irate student threw a chair at an assistant with the York City School District Wednesday.

According to city police, Frank J. Palmieri, an administrative assistant at the Lindbergh Education Center in the 300 block of Lindbergh Avenue, was suspending a juvenile for cutting class when the student became irate, shouted profanities and threats.

The student then threw a chair at Palmieri as he walked out of the building.

The student will be cited with disorderly conduct and harassment, according to police.
