The York City Police Department's Impaired Driving Initiative will hold an awareness event 7 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Yorktowne Hotel, 48 E. Market St., York.

After a reception, a ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m. Winners of the 2009-10 Impaired Driving Initiative Campaign and Logo Contest will be announced.

Community members will speak about being victimized by DUI crashes.
