The African Children's Choir will perform the following concerts in the area:

10 a.m. Nov. 29 at Lower Dauphin Middle School, 251 Quarry Road, Hummelstown

6 p.m. Nov. 29 at Hempfield United Methodist Church, 3050 Marietta Drive, Lancaster

7 p.m. Dec. 3 at First Baptist Church, 1850 S. 19th St., Steelton

7 p.m. Dec. 4 at Derry Presbyterian Church, 248 E. Derry Road, Hershey

7 p.m. Dec. 16 at Zion United Methodist Church, 1030 Carlisle Road, West Manchester Township

The choir recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary. They've performed on "American Idol" and "Good Morning America" and at the Live 8 concert in London and Nelson Mandela's 46664 concert.

Free-will offerings will be collected at the shows to support the choir's education, care, and relief programs for children in Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Rwanda, Sudan, Nigeria and Ghana. The choir currently supports about 7,000 children.
