All-stars
Ben Appleby, York Suburban: A terrific distance swimmer, he placed eighth and fifth in the 200 and 500 freestyles at the state meet, but the junior really showed his mettle in the Trojans state record breaking 200 medley relay when he swam a split of 21.20 as the anchor.
Stephen Cashman, Dover: The junior was second and third in the league in the 100 butterfly and 50 free respectively. Cashman was sixth in the 50 and eighth in districts in the 100 butterfly, plus he was in the medley relay, that was second in District 3 and third at states as well.
Dan Dierdorff, Northeastern: The Bobcat junior was sixth in the 100 free at the YAIAA meet and 16th at districts and on the district qualifying 400 free relay.
Harry Foster, York Suburban: The District 3 AA butterfly champ won a silver medal in the fly and a bronze in the 100 free at states. The Clemson-bound senior was a part of the record breaking 200 medley and 400 free relays and finished his brilliant career in style.
Patrick Hamill, Susquehannock: Hamill was second in the YAIAA in the 100 free and third in the 100 fly. The senior placed seventh in the fly and eighth in the free at districts and was on the league champion 200 free relay team that finished fourth at districts.
Richard Janosky, Dover: The coach's son worked hard during his four-year career and became one of the YAIAA's best freestylers, finishing ninth at districts in the 200. He was instrumental on that great Eagles' medley relay team and 10th place state 400 free relay.
Eddie Jenkins, Spring Grove: Second in the 200 individual medley at the league meet and third in the 100 back and won an eighth-place medal in the IM at AAA districts. The senior fell short of states only because District 3's outstanding AAA field.
Chris Manning, York Suburban: What a way to finish a high school career. Manning won the 100 breaststroke championship at the AA state meet, then was on the record-setting 400 free relay team. Why not? He has already been on the medley team that set a new standard and won a silver medal in the 200 IM.
Eric Naylor, Dover: The junior continues to climb Dover's record board, showing he is much more than just a great backstroker. In the back, Naylor placed third at districts and sixth at the PIAA Class AA meet. He was also sixth in districts in the 100 fly and was on the Eagles' PIAA bronze medal winning 200 medley relay team.
Matt O'Neill, Red Lion: Had a great YAIAA championship meet, including finishing third in the 100 breast and fourth in the 50 free. The senior got to represent the Lions in both events at the difficult District 3 AAA meet.
Scott Paine, Dallastown: Paine was third at the YAIAA meet in both the 200 and 500 free events and the junior was ninth in District 3 AAA in the 500 and 10th in the 200. A very tough AAA was the only reason he was not at the state meet.
Andrew Rohrbaugh, South Western: The YAIAA diving champ, the senior Rohrbaugh finished a respectable eighth at the District 3 Class AAA meet with 279.45 points. Was strong all season for the Mustangs.
Brian Strathmeyer, West York: The Bulldog standout gave a solid performance making the consolation heat in the 100 back at the state AA meet, in the same event he was seventh in districts and second in the league.

Not only did Suburban win the title under Guyer's tutelage, but the foursome of Harry Foster, Ben Appleby, Chris Manning and Marsteller smashed state records in the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.
