A tractor-trailer Friday overturned in Hopewell Township and spilled the three steel coils it carried into a nearby field, according to state police.

The truck's driver, 45-year-old Charles Boone of Columbia, Md., couldn't slow down at a curve near Plank and Sawmill roads, police said.

After it tipped over on its right-hand side, the three coils ripped free from the truck's bed and rolled into a field, police said.

No injuries were reported.
