Today's Big 33 Celebrity Tailgate Party at Hanover Country Club in Abbottstown -- which was to include appearances by more than 20 sports figures -- has been postponed, organizers said.

An event official said the country club is tentatively planning to reschedule the event. But no details are available at this time.

Among those who had been scheduled to attend the event today were Galen Hall, Mike McQueary, Fran Ganter, Randy Edsall, Duke Edsall, Al Golden, Ray Isom, Keith Goganious, Glen Ressler, Doug Strang, Mike Guman, Bruce Laird, Aaron Brady, Scott Fitzkee and Jimmy Shaw.

The event benefits the Greater York-Adams Area Scholarship Fund. Five scholarships were to be presented to recipients during the event.
