HUNTINGTON, W.Va.—Two people are being sought in the shooting death of a Huntington minister at a firing range.

Wayne County Sheriff's Sgt. Travis Williamson told The Herald-Dispatch that first-degree murder warrants have been filed against Steven Wilson and Daniel Smith. They are charged in the June 19 death of Rev. Mark McCalla.

McCalla's body was found at the Beech Fork State Park rifle range. The 48-year-old clergyman was shot once in the head.

Williamson says Wilson and Smith both were stationed at Fort Drum in New York but left the base in recent months.

WSAZ-TV reports that Wilson is from Cincinnati and Smith is from Newport News, Va.

Before coming to Highlawn Presbyterian Church, McCalla worked at churches in Columbus, Ohio, and Corry and Franklin, Pa.
