One York city business failed during a recent round of the health inspections.
American Grocery Mart at 451 E. Philadelphia St. scored a 72 on its March 3 health inspection.
Hot dogs on a grill that registered a lower-than-required temperature and outdated food items stored on the shelves contributed to the failing score.
Russell Dorm, York's health and sanitation officer, said that he did not shut down of the store.
On March 5, Dorm performed a follow-up inspection and American Grocery Mart passed its review with a score of 97.
Business start off with a score of 100.
Points are deducted for violations such as no hot water or having toxic substances, such as hand lotion, in a food preparation area.
