York's Bureau of Permits and Health Licensing failed one business during a recent round of inspections.
The YWCA's Main Kitchen at 320 E. Market St. scored an 82 on its June 4 health inspection
A gap in the bottom area of the exit door in the kitchen and cleaning chemicals situated next to a handwash sink in a food preparation area contributed to the failing score.
On June 6, the YWCA's Main Kitchen passed a follow-up inspection with a score of 100.
Business start with score of 100.
Points are deducted for violations such as no hot water and the presence of insects or rodents.
A score of 86 is considered passing.
