August 20, 2008 - Brent J. Bathory, of Red Lion, died about 4:30 p.m.Sunday after he went into a lake at Gifford Pinchot State Park. His grandmother, Donna Witherow, said the 4-year-old's family is heartbroken over the accidental drowning. "He shouldn't have died -- I should have gone first," she said. Aug. 20, 2008 - NASCAR stars Tony Stewart, Kasey Kahne and Dave Blaney were in the area to race in the Kasey Kahne Foundation Benefit, and fans of racing's most popular series were out in droves.
