The Red Lion Area School Board is facing setbacks in the 2009-10 budget after the passage of the state budget.
The impact was felt in the basic education subsidiary funds, as the district lost $440,000 from the amount it expected it would receive from the state.
In addition, there is a deficit of $31,000 in the Cyber Charter School funds and the alternative education reimbursement was $65,000 less than what was expected from the state.
Investment income is problematic, with the district being behind $30,000.
"We will be fine," said Terry Robinson, secretary of the school board. "With the support from the administration, the school board will find a way to not let this impact the students of Red Lion negatively, and the district will find a way to resolve the issues."
The next budget report will be at the Dec. 7 school board meeting.
