Three York County residents, all with a long history of work in emergency management, recently achieved certifications from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.

Elmer Fromm and Bernell Kohler received their advanced certification in emergency management, the second step of a three-tier process.

Alan Reed achieved his basic certification, the first step of the process, according to a news release from York County's Office of Emergency Management.

All three work in Windsor Township.
