State officials have scheduled a series of statewide public meetings, including one in York County, to gather input on the state's water infrastructure needs.

A special governor's task force on the issue will hold its local meeting at 6 p.m. May 29 at Mazie Gable Elementary School, 100 E. Prospect St., Red Lion.

The 30-member task force, dubbed the Sustainable Water Infrastructure Task Force, is made up of business leaders, lawmakers and industry experts.
