MECHANICSBURG -- Today's steady rain forced cancellation of the All Star sprint/late model racing program tonight at Williams Grove Speedway.

It is the sixth weather-related cancellation of a sprint car racing event at Williams Grove this year.

The All Star Circuit of Champions will return to sanction racing at the Grove on Friday, June 13. That date was part of the original 2008 schedule.

Officials said they are attempting to bring back the All Stars later in the season to make up for tonight's rainout.

The late models have no further scheduled dates at Williams Grove this year.

The World of Outlaws will sanction the Cleveland Brothers Spring Shootout for sprint cars on Thursday and Friday, May 15-16. Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 7:45 both nights.
