A first-round battle between Central York and Dallastown is the highlight of the schedule for the District 3 girls' soccer tournament, which gets under way next week.

In Class AAA, 11th-seeded Dallastown will host 22nd-seeded Central York at 4:30 p.m. Monday. Earlier this week, the Panthers upset Dallastown, 3-2, in the YAIAA tournament semifinals.

In other Class AAA first-round games involving area teams on Monday, No. 17 Spring Grove will play No. 16 Ephrata at 7 p.m. at Manheim Central; No. 24 Kennard-Dale will be at No. 9 Conestoga Valley at 7 p.m.; and No. 18 Susquehannock will be at No. 15 Chambersburg at 7 p.m.

Cumberland Valley is the No. 1 seed in the Class AAA bracket.

In Class AA first-round games involving area teams on Monday, No. 9 Eastern York will host No. 24 Reading Holy Name at 7 p.m.; No. 21 Biglerville will be at No. 12 Hamburg at 4:30 p.m.; No. 31 York Suburban will be at No. 2 Lancaster Mennonite at 7 p.m.; No. 26 Christian School of York will be at No. 7 Lancaster Catholic at 4:30 p.m.; and No. 14 Bermudian Springs will host No. 19 Northern Lebanon at 7 p.m.

Donegal is the No. 2 seed in the Class AA bracket.
