MECHANICSBURG -- A strong thunderstorm forced the management of Williams Grove Speedway to cancel tonight's racing lineup.

The storm struck the half-mile oval just as the third 358 late model heat was completed.

The show is a complete washout and rain checks will be honored, track officials said.

Next Saturday night, Williams Grove will present the super sportsman, limited late models and street stocks, plus the four-cylinder stock cars.

Also, next Saturday night will be the first camera and autograph night at Williams Grove Speedway.
