Time has taken its toll on the original 1886 bell used to signal children to class at St. Patrick Catholic School in York. Relegated to a box in the basement, the bronze bell was dull, discolored and silent. Recently rediscovered during renovations, the bell has been restored.   Full Story

Bishop appointed to Ind. diocese
