Church goes to the dogs

Donna Merz with dog Gracie attend services at at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles on Nov. 1. The 30-minute worship, complete with doggie beds, canine prayers and a tray of dog treats for the offering, is intended to reinvigorate the church's community outreach while attracting new members who are as crazy about God as they are about their four-legged friends.
