Christian School of York in Manchester Township will hold its third annual Veteran's Day celebration 1 to 2 p.m. Nov. 10 at the school, 907 Greenbriar Road.

The William Penn Senior High JROTC drill team will present the colors and execute a drill routine. Student groups will perform patriotic songs.

Students and representatives of Fort Indian Town Gap will make presentations in the memory of Maj. Joseph N. Flanders of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. Flanders, who served in Operation Desert Storm and in the U.S. Army for 28 years, was 52 when he died Aug. 1 after a sudden illness.

Flanders was the husband of a teacher, Allison E. Flanders, and the father of three students at the school.
