Tim Harikkala pitched the York Revolution to a 1-0 win over the Bridgeport Bluefish on Sunday at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn., on Sunday.

Harikkala (2-1) fired 8 shutout innings, allowing just four hits and one walk, while striking out nine, the most by a Revs pitcher this season. He retired eight consecutive hitters twice during the course of the afternoon. He gave way to Bob Zimmermann, who earned his first save in the ninth.

Dan Reichert (6-6) took a complete game loss for the Bluefish, allowing an unearned run on only seven hits. He struck out eight, while walking none.

The Revs will now enjoy three days off, before returning home to host the Somerset Patriots in a four-game series at Sovereign Bank Stadium beginning on Thursday night.

Jason Aspito went 2-for-4 for the Revs and scored York's only run. After leading off the second inning with a single, he advanced to second on an infield hit by John Purdom, and then to third base on a throwing error. Matt Esquivel drove him in on an RBI fielder's choice grounder to short. He legged out the relay to first base, allowing Aspito to cross the plate.

Brandon Sing collected Bridgeport's only three hits until Ryner Bautista led off the eighth with a single. Harikkala retired the next three, stranding Bautista in scoring position.

Luis Lopez led off the bottom of the ninth with an infield hit, but Zimmermann rolled a double play and induced a pop out to record his first
