The Revs, in their third year in the Atlantic League, have won the final game on the road all three years.
Somerset jumped ahead with three first inning runs, with a two-run double to left from Jeff Nettles, and an RBI double off the base of the center-field wall by Joe Burke.
The Revs then went in front with four runs in the third. Jamar Hill celebrated his birthday by smashing a leadoff homerun to left field. Aharon Eggleston ripped an RBI double into left-center, and Matt Padgett smacked a two-run single to right, just after fouling a pitch hard off his foot, to give York the 4-3 lead.
Somerset tied it on an RBI groundout from Nilson Teilon in the sixth, but the Revs quickly went back in front.
Eggleston led off the seventh with his second double of the game, moved to third on Keoni DeRenne's groundout and scored on Padgett's third RBI of the game, as he legged out a fielder's choice at first base.
Starter Daryl Harang (10-12) worked six innings to earn the win. He became the fourth pitcher in Revs history to reach double-digit wins. He also tied a club record with his fifth road win and seventh win in the second half.
Jason Richardson worked two perfect innings to set it up for Travis Phelps, who notched his team-leading ninth save, stranding two runners while retiring Anthony Granato on a popup to first base to
