Tuesday's Atlantic League game between the Newark Bears and York Revolution in Newark, N.J., was postponed because of rain and poor field conditions.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 p.m. today.

The doubleheader will consist of two seven inning games.

Wayne Franklin and Aaron Myette will start for the Revs, while Pat Stanley and Will Cunnane will get the call to the mound for Newark.

Patriots top Barnstormers: The host Somerset Patriots defeated the Lancaster Barnstormers 3-1 at Commerce Bank Ballpark on Tuesday.

The Patriots broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Brandon Larson singled, designated hitter Josh Pressley singled and Jason Belcher followed with a two-run double to give Somerset the victory.
