BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Bluefish powered their way past the York Revolution, 7-2, on Monday night, fueled by seventh-inning grand slam by designated hitter Calvin Pickering.
Both teams are now 5-5.
They'll meet again at 7:05 tonight in the second game of the series.
Pickering's grand slam came off Revolution reliever Travis Phelps. The former Baltimore Oriole also drilled a single off Revolution starter Aaron Myette in the sixth inning and finished 2-for-4.

Eric DuBose continued the stretch of solid Bluefish starting pitching.
The lefty went six innings, allowing only two runs on five hits while striking out two.
Matt Pike (1-0) picked up the win in his first appearance with Bridgeport, pitching two innings of hitless baseball, walking one and striking out two.
Jason Aspito picked up both RBIs for the Revolution when his sixth-inning double off DuBose drove in Matt Padgett and Tyler Von Schell.
